Lynn Lawson's book is called "The House on the Cliff" subtitled "The Story of the Building that Stood on Seaford Head".  It's a fascinating look at the social history of the building (variously known as Cliff Cottage, Splash Point Hotel, Cliff Court etc) and the families and individuals who owned/occupied it from the original planning application in July 1897 through to it's demise in the mid 1960s.  It includes loads of photos (colour and b&w) and is based on very extensive research.
