For many people, volunteering with Seaford Museum and Heritage Society (SMHS) is a way of developing their interest in local history, using existing skills and acquiring new ones. It is also a really good way of meeting people and contributing to the cultural life of the area.
Volunteers are involved in a wide range of activities from caring for the archives and collections to setting up displays, helping run events, answering enquiries, stewarding and general maintenance.
Volunteers must be 18 or over.

If you are interested in any of these, feel you have something else to offer, or are not sure what you would like to do, please email volunteer@seafordmuseum.co.uk. We will then contact you and arrange for you to visit and talk with one of us about volunteering at the museum. If you decide to volunteer, you will fill in an Application form.
When you become a volunteer, you will sign a Volunteering Agreement Form.Please read our Volunteer Policy for more information on volunteering with us.
